Allen Hidalgo is a New York bi-lingual native. He was most recently seen in the hit Broadway Musical, Jersey Boys. Prior to that, on Broadway starring as Louie in the Earth Wind & Fire musical Hot Feet! His portrayal of this storytelling Devil received rave reviews in N.Y.C and beyond. More Broadway and National Productions include: Kiss Of The Spiderwoman as Molina opposite Chita Rivera, Chicago as Fred Casely and Billy Flynn, Candide as Governor opposite Jim Dale, Starlight Express as Greaseball, Fame: the musical as Joe Vegas, A Chorus Line as Paul, West Side Story as Bernardo and Aint’ Misbehavin’ as The Viper. Off-Broadway shows include: Four Guys Named Jose produced by Grammy Award winner Enrique Iglesias, Blessing In Disguise and Eating Raoul as Raoul. Mr. Hidalgo has worked under the direction of: Tony Award winners, Hal Prince and Trevor Nunn and Academy Award winner Steven Spielberg and Academy Award Nominee Rob Marshall to name a few. He received a “Best Featured Actor” nomination from the Star Ledger and he was awarded “Best Actor” in Florida. Roles for Film and Television include: To Wong Foo…, Didn't This Used To be Fun?, Kiss Of Chaos, Law and Order CI as Alberto Fama and The Guiding Light as Rodrigo. Allen has appeared on the Tony Awards, and Numerous National Commercials. His “Carnegie Hall” debut received critical acclaim and his single, The Message on Moonshine Records, remained on top of the “Billboard’s Charts” for 8 consecutive weeks.
